Reticular abnormalities - Traction bronchiectasis

An abnormal dilatation of the bronchial tree occurring as a consequence of interstitial fibrosis is referred to as traction bronchiectasis. The bronchus is pulled apart by the traction of surrounding parenchymal fibrosis. It can arise from a number of underlying causes which result in lung fibrosis.2,6
